What a transport package solves
A multi-day taxi package links airport pickup, hotel changes and day excursions into one road plan. It reduces repeated bargaining and gives the driver a clear itinerary. It does not remove the need to plan tickets, hotel check-ins, local-union zones and weather alternatives.
How many days should you keep?
- 4 days: a compact first look; usually Srinagar plus two major excursions.
- 5 days: three major excursion days or a gentler arrival/departure plan.
- 6 days: a balanced circuit with room for local Srinagar sightseeing.
- 7 days: more flexibility for an offbeat valley, rest, shopping or slower starts.
Package inclusion checklist
Ask whether the fare includes airport transfer, driver allowance, fuel, planned travel days and stated route. Check parking, toll, local-union taxi, driver night halt, extra kilometre, extra hour and itinerary-change charges. Hotels, meals, sightseeing tickets and activities are excluded unless specifically written.

Do taxi packages include hotels?
These are transport-led plans unless a quotation explicitly includes accommodation. Hotel, houseboat, meals, tickets and activities should be treated as separate unless written into a combined package.
Can I change the day order?
Yes. The final order depends on hotel nights, weather, road status, tickets and local taxi rules. The travel desk can restructure the plan before confirmation.
Does the same cab stay with us?
The primary touring cab can remain attached for the agreed itinerary. Certain sightseeing zones require locally authorised vehicles, which should be explained separately.
Which package is best for a first visit?
Five or six days usually allows a more balanced pace than trying to fit Srinagar and three valleys into four days. Seven days gives more flexibility for Doodhpathri, Yusmarg or rest time.
